Ryan Fussell Takes Gavel as 2024 MTI President
One area of strength for the Metal Treating Institute over the years has always been its line of leadership, and 2024 is no different. At the final night awards dinner this past week, at MTI’s Fall Meeting in Tucson, AZ, 2023 President Jim Orr from Penna Flame Industries passed the gavel to the new 2024 President, Ryan Fussell from Southwest Metal Treating in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. MTI celebrated its 90th anniversary of being established in 1933.
With Southwest Metal Treating being a member since 2010, Ryan Fussell brings a wealth of knowledge, vision, and history to the table as President. Ryan was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2014 and has served on numerous committees including membership, safety, and executive finance.
MTI also announced the new slate of 2024 officers who will join Ryan, as well as newly elected Board Members for 3-year terms:
