MTI Fulfillment and Refund Policy

The following is the fulfillment policy for all purchases to the Metal Treating Institute.

Meeting Registration Cancellation and Refunds

With any MTI meeting, attendees may receive a 100% refund for registration up to 90 days prior to the meeting.   Attendees will receive a 50% refund for registration up to 15 days prior to the meeting date.  Attendees will receive a 0% refund for registration if cancelled within 15 days of the meeting date.  All refunds will be processed within 7 days of the notice of cancellation date back to the credit card charged or a check issued if paid by check.

Physical Order Processing and Shipping

  1. Order Processing Time: Orders are processed within 2-3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed and shipped.
  2. Shipping Methods: We offer standard ground shipping on all physical orders. The estimated delivery time and costs for each option will be displayed at checkout.
  3. Shipping Locations: We ship domestically and internationally. Shipping rates and delivery times may vary based on the destination.

Refunds and Returns

  1. Eligibility: To be eligible for a refund, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it. 
  2. Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team within 30 days of receiving your order. You will be provided with a return instructions on how to send back your item.
  3. Refund Processing: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
  4. Return Shipping: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Cancellations

  1. Order Cancellations: Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. After 24 hours, cancellations may not be possible as the order might have already been processed.
  2. How to Cancel: To cancel your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible with your order number and cancellation request.
  3. Refund for Cancellations: If your order is successfully canceled within the specified timeframe, a full refund will be issued to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.

Damaged or Defective Items

  1. Reporting Damaged Items: If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving the item.
  2. Resolution Options: We will arrange for a replacement or a refund for the damaged or defective item. In some cases, we may request that you provide photos of the damage or defect.
