MTI Educational Foundation Scholarship Award Winners Announced
The MTI Educational Foundation is excited to announce that it has finalized and awarded $51,500 in scholarships to 9 recipients. Educational Foundation Chair, Buster Crossley from Texas Heat Treating in Round Rock, TX stated, “With the long-term labor shortage that everyone is facing, the Foundation is proud to be able to award 9 more students financial resources that can help them further their education and attract them to our industry. It is exciting to see the emails of appreciation from them knowing that MTI is making a difference in their lives, and hopefully attracting them to work in the industry after graduation.”

College Scholarship:
- Annalise Vary – Grand Ledge, MI
- Brianna Buccini – Cranberry Township, PA
- John Olenik – Mentor, OH
- Justin Storn – Cincinnati, OH
- Owen Murdock – Normal, IL
- Rebekah Smith – Commerce, MI
- Sophie Mehl – Saginaw, MI
Founder’s Scholarship:
- Eric Roth – Tucson, AZ
The MTI Educational Foundation is committed to engaging the next generation with resources to attract new talent into the heat treating industry over the next decade.
MTI would like to thank the Foundation Board of Directors for all of their hard work on the scholarship process. It takes lots of volunteer hours and personal time to review each of the applications and determine the recipients. The Foundation Board is comprised of:
