MTI Members to Meet at NADCAP October Meeting

MTI is excited to announce that details have been finalized for its general meeting and reception during the October 21-23 NADCAP Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA. Members from across North America will attend MTI’s two special events during the NADCAP Meeting:  

GENERAL MEETING – Monday, October 21

MTI’s Technical Standards Committee leadership will facilitate a general meeting at the Embassy Suites, just down from the Nadcap Meeting hotel, to discuss a series of key items on the NADCAP agenda, review ballots in process to make changes to the AC7102 checklist, as well as discuss technical specifications being reviewed by the AMEC Committee. The AMEC Committee, a committee within the SAE structure, is the committee who reviews and designs the aerospace specifications that NADCAP audits to.

NETWORKING RECEPTION – Tuesday, October 22

On the second night, MTI will host a networking event for all Members in attendance, to come together and discuss key agenda items from the first day.

Members who attend state, “The MTI events during NADCAP are always energizing and informative, and provide me an opportunity to be connected with, and learn from other MTI Members who are attending NADCAP. To be able to discuss real-time best practices and hear how others are approaching audit compliance is invaluable. Any heat treater who is NADCAP accredited, who is not in attendance at the meetings, is missing out.”
