MTI Educational Foundation Challenge by Member Rick Deibel

Posted By: Tom Morrison Community,

On behalf of the MTI Educational Foundation Board, Chair Mary Springer from Thermtech, would like to thank you for being a committed supporter of the Metal Treating Institute. As you may know, MTI's Educational Foundation was excited to award $35,000 in scholarships in 2018 to five students. During the final night YES graduation and awards dinner at FNA 2018 this month, attendees experienced an energized excitement over the work that the MTI Educational Foundation is doing in providing scholarships to draw young talent into our industry. To view what the scholarships meant to the students, click the video below.

During the final night dinner at FNA 2018, one of MTI's long-time members, Rick Deibel from Heat Treating Technologies, committed to make a $5,000 donation to the Foundation, and issued a challenge to everyone at the dinner to also make a donation. Numerous members took the challenge and committed to making donations between $1,000 and $5,000.

Here is the fun part...MTI committed to match all member contributions 2 to 1 up to $25,000. So for every $1 donated by members, MTI will kick in $2. We want to invite all members to join in on the challenge by making a donation during our year-end matching campaign. We already have $22,500 in donations in month one!

I'm asking you to consider taking the Rick Deibel Challenge. Click below and make a year-end donation to the MTI Educational Foundation and help us continue the good work to reach the next generation for the heat treating industry.

CLICK HERE to make your 2018 year-end donation.

Once you complete the short form, MTI will send you an invoice for your donation.

Thank you again for your support of MTI and the Educational Foundation.

Sincerely,

Mary Springer, President - Thermtech
