MTI to Host Annual Business Meeting at FNA 2024
MTI is pleased to announce it will be hosting its annual business meeting during day 2 of Furnaces North America 2024, in Columbus, OH. This meeting will take place on October 16 at 7:00 am in room A225 in the Columbus Convention Center.
During the annual business meeting, President Ryan Fussell, from Southwest Metal Treating, will share the exciting projects MTI has been making progress on in 2024, including: the MTI Jobs of Tomorrow Docu-series, a new career website with job board, WallyBot AI virtual assistance, and progress on the MTI Regulatory Impact Task Force.
During the business meeting, MTI’s financial report will be shared, with an outline of the 2025 budget as approved by the Board of Trustees. Also, sharing the approval of the new MTI Board Members, as recommended by the MTI Nominating Committee.
New Board Members being voted on are:
Atlantic Coast Chapter: Bob Lyman, Eastern Metal Treating – 1st term
Pacific Coast Chapter: Heather Falcone, Thermal-Vac Technology - 2nd term
At-Large: Dave Secrist, Induction Heat Treating Corporation – 1st term
At-Large: Martin Balk, Hansen-Balk Steel Treating Company – 1st term
At-Large: Roy Adkins, Braddock Metallurgical – 1st term
At-Large: Andrew Orr, Penna Flame Industries – 1st term
At-Large: Greg Temple, Winston Heat Treating – 2nd term
